As the weather grows warmer and the days grow longer, one wedding trend we're completely smitten with is the use of dusty blue hues for the most perfect "I dos." So, when we came across Kacey and Tanner's rustic romantic day that was filled with nature, fun, and all-things blue-tiful. With a donut display straight out of our dreams, jaw-dropping chiffon styles, and happy tears from start to finish, we just can't get enough of their love-filled day and happily-ever-after.
”We got married August 4, 2018 in Naches, Washington. The wedding ceremony took place outside at Fontaine Estates Winery, and then the reception just behind the ceremony in a big and beautiful barn.” -Kacey, Bride
“Our first look helped take away my nerves! So by the time it came to walking down the aisle, I was dang excited!”
"My dad walked up to me (who has been my basketball coach most of my life) and said, 'game time, baby! Let’s do this!' I gave him a giant hug, grabbed his arm, fixed my veil, and off we went. To be honest, when I saw all the people, I thought 'I can't believe we are really doing this!' And then I thought, 'Oh shoot, I gotta keep up with my dad.'"
“Everyone kept telling us, ‘The day goes by too quickly! Make sure to take it all in!’ So our goal was to catch each other at least three times that day — we'd totally and completely stop what we were doing, hold hands, take a deep breath, and look around us.”
“The first ‘soak it in’ moment was at the altar, the first time we held hands after walking down the aisle. Just before vowing to forever, we had a moment where we both thought 'wow, this is it!'"
“We loved our experience with Revelry! There are so many bridesmaids dresses to choose from out there, and everything is so dang expensive! But the Revelry dresses are reasonably priced and are extremely great quality.”
”One of the best parts is that you can order a box to try on the dresses and they only take two days to ship to you. Not all of my bridesmaids live in the same town, so ordering the dresses online to try on was a great option for everyone.“
”Another great part is there are multiple styles in each color so we could cater to all of the bridesmaids personal styles (all of mine just so happened to pick the same dress!). The specific dress we chose, The Kennedy, had removable shoulder pieces that could be styled in multiple ways, which the girls looooved!”
“The second ‘soak it in’ moment and my favorite moment of the big day, was when we sat down to eat dinner. All of these people (over 200) were there to celebrate US and OUR LOVE?! We sat there with smiles and happy tears glistening on our faces. We felt so loved and so unbelievably blessed.”
“Finally the third ‘deep breath’ moment of our big day was during the speeches, when we heard from each of our dads and a few people from the wedding party. It was just more reminders of how very loved we are and how special our lives together were going to be.”
”The most important part of our wedding day was celebrating our love and our promise of forever to one another with all of our friends and family. We spent the night laughing, crying (happy tears only, I promise), drinking, and dancing! It was perfect.” -Kacey, Bride
”Our puppy, Griffey, made a little appearance down the aisle!“
"My friend and I made the donut sign! We also had two of our bridesmaids hand paint our wood signs, two of which we now have as decor in our home." -Kacey, Bride
And because the groom, Tanner, wrapped it up better than we ever could, his thoughts of the wedding? “IT WAS THE BEST DAY OF MY LIFE.”
