This Black Tie "Night At The Museum" Wedding Is Truly A Marriage To Remember
May 29th 2019
When it comes to picking your perfect wedding day looks, there’s a lot that goes into it. Cuts, fabrics, styles, and swoon-worthy combos is just the start to finding fierce looks for your favorite gals. But what’s one of the hardest parts of saying “I do” to your bridesmaids dresses? Committing to a color (or combination of hues).
As any bride knows, color schemes are a huge part of the wedding planning process, and one of the hardest details the nail down. Whether you dream of beachy blushes, forest-y greens, dusty blues, or sparkling sequins, or the prettiest purples, there’s a huge variety of options to make your bridesbabes pop! And while it’s wonderful to have such a wide array of choices, it can be tricky to figure out what speaks to you! Which is why we wanted to highlight one of the most classic bridesmaid colors and a forever winner: The not-so-little black dress!
Whether you’re having a casual cocktail reception or a black tie affair, going with black bridesmaids dresses is the perfect sophisticated touch to anyone’s big day! And when we saw Hannah’s backdrop of a dino exhibit, a checkered dance floor, and nonstop laughs, we knew this was a wedding we’d want to relive again and again and again!
“Our goal was for everyone to relax and enjoy good food, drinks, music, and friendship. We like to think it was a success!” —Hannah, Bride
“I'm so glad we chose Revelry for our bridesmaids dresses! I wanted the girls wearing the same color, but didn't want everyone to look TOO uniform. Revelry was the perfect fit in that the girls were able to style their dresses in a way that best fit both their figure and personality.”
“The convertible dresses were also a hit with the ladies because they truly have the opinion that the dress can actually be worn again. A huge bonus for a bridesmaid dress, am I right?”

“We used Black Tie in the Rosalie and Kennedy dresses. I loved how every girl could wear the dress in a different way!”

“As I walked down the aisle, I just kept thinking three things: 1) Don't cry 2) Don't trip and 3) I hope Logan is ready for this adventure!”
“One of the best features of our wedding (in my opinion) was the dinosaur exhibit, and it really spoke to my “Night at the Museum” vision for the night.”
“I loved seeing everyone enjoy the dinosaur exhibit during cocktail hour. We did a first look and were able to knock out family photos pretty quickly after the ceremony and join in on the cocktail hour festivities.”
“It was a great opportunity to chat with people I may not have been able to chat with during the reception.”
“Hannah and Logan’s wedding was one of the best nights I have ever been a part of. Everything was perfect, from the flowers, to the sprinkle cake (even though they tried to cut it without telling anyone), to the unexpectedly clear and cool weather, and even the checkered dance floor! Getting to have drinks with the dinosaurs was a unique touch and so fitting for them! It was a night I will always remember.” —Lindsey, Bridesmaid
“The dance floor is always my favorite part of any wedding! So, naturally, it was one of my favorite parts of our big day.”
“It truly was the most special night. We will never ever forget it! The most wonderful start to a lifetime of love!”
xoxo, Revelry
