When Your Bridesmaids Are Your "Something Blue" You're Guaranteed A Happily Ever After

Here at Revelry, we have one main goal: To help make a couple's wedding the absolute best day of their lives. We want their vision to come true, whether that means rocking silver sequins in the snow, bold burgundy hues in the fall, or a Disney-inspired wedding filled with magic and wonderment! Still, we know that sometimes, while a couple wants the perfect day, they're not always sure how, exactly, to make it happen.

That's why we like to help brides and bridesmaids any way we can to create memories that last a lifetime. From our exclusive Facebook group filled with advice, to our weekly #FinallyTheBride Instagram stories, and our Instagram filled with wedding inspo, we want to be a part of the wedding experience from "yes" to "I do!" So, when we found out a recent Revelry bride, Chelsea, pulled inspiration from one of our Instagram posts, we could help but fall in love with the beautiful blue chiffon pairings all over again! And thanks to Chelsea's team of fantastic vendors, wonderful bridesmaids, and a perfect menu (hello, pizza bites), it's no wonder why we all want to relive this day over and over again!

"While getting my hair and makeup done, I was so anxious to be "ready" so that I could finally see James and have our moment together. I just wanted to finally be able to see each other and let the wedding day "officially" begin. -Chelsea, Bride

I knew I wanted the bridesmaid dresses to be different shades of blue, but I was having trouble finding various shades that would work well together. When I saw the different shades of blue Revelry offered, I knew I had found the perfect combination! I also wanted my bridesmaids to have different styles of dresses which is why I decided to use both the separates and off-the-shoulder dress options. By choosing separates, this allowed me to create a dress that would look best for each of my bridesmaids.

Prior to deciding on the bridesmaids' dresses, I ordered numerous samples and color swatches so that I could try on the dresses myself to see how I liked each style. I really liked this at-home try on experience because it took the guesswork out of picking bridesmaid dresses and allowed me to see the dresses in person. My bridesmaids also used the at home try on service in order to know exactly what size dress, skirt, or top to order which was really helpful for them. I searched FOREVER to find the right combination of blues, and when I saw one of Revelry's Instagram posts with these blues together, I knew they had to be the ones!

I have so many "favorite parts" of our wedding day, but I would say that my absolute favorite part was the first look with my then-fiance, now husband, James. When walking up to him, all of the nerves of the day completely went away and were replaced with just joy and excitement of what was in store for the day.

When walking down the aisle I was thinking just how excited I was to finally get to this point! After dating for 10 years, our wedding day was definitely a long time coming and we were both just so excited to finally be able to start life together. We had talked about our wedding day as young, goofy high school students, and when the day finally arrived I remember thinking, "Wow, we really did it -- we made it to this day!"

Our wedding could not have been possible without all of the incredibly talented vendors who knew exactly what our vision was and completely nailed it. We were so grateful to have our friends and family to share in the beginning of our life together and greatly appreciated their love and support throughout the years.

"It is hard for me to pick my favorite part of our wedding day, but some of the moments that stand out to me are finally seeing Chelsea during our first look, seeing the smiles on our families faces the entire day, watching the wedding party keep the dance floor going, and being able to honor our loved ones who could not be there through our memory table. All of the vendors did an amazing job in making our day everything we could have wanted it to be." -James, Groom
