How does Revelry work if I’m a bride?

You and your besties can now find dresses for the Pinterest perfect wedding you’ve been dreaming of – without the guilt! We design and custom produce each dress in house, so Revelry gowns cost less than they would at a traditional retailer or wedding boutique.

Take a look at our full collection here to pick out your favorite styles and build your Sample Box. By ordering samples, you can see our designer quality dresses in person, and allow your bridal party to find the perfect fit. You can also order Swatches For Keeps; up to 5 fabric swatches that do not have to be returned.

Once you’ve received your Sample Box and selected the style(s) and color(s) you’ve fallen for, send your bridesmaids to shoprevelry.com to place their orders individually, or place a group order all at once! Your bridesmaids can receive their own Sample Box, too, or order right off of our measurement chart. Each item is made-to-order and ships within 10 weeks of order placement, however, we recommend placing orders 4 months prior to your wedding date to allow ample time for alterations and styling.

How does Revelry work if I’m in a bridal party?

Whether the bride has told you to find any “blush colored dress” or directed you to Revelry for a specific style and color, you can place your individual order from our website! Each item is custom made and final sale, so members of bridal parties are encouraged to build their own Sample Box before ordering. Keep in mind that standard orders take 10 weeks to ship, so make sure to order with plenty of time before the big day!

What is a Try On Party?

Try On Parties are an amazing way to get your girls together on a specific date to check out the items in your Sample Box and perform fittings. We recommend placing your Sample Box order 5 business days prior to the date of your Try On Party. Do I have to be in a wedding to use Revelry?

You don’t have to be in a wedding to shop with Revelry and we are happy to help outfit you for any event! The process works the same way- pick out styles for your Sample Box, try them on at home, and place your order.  It's that simple. Make sure you visit our How It Works page for more details.

Sample Boxes

What is a Revelry Sample Box?

The Revelry Sample Box is an innovative new way to try items on at home before you buy! We send you a package with the styles and sizes you select, along with a full set of fabric swatches so you can see the colors we offer in person! Each sample style is $10, you can order up to 15 items, and if you order 3+ samples, shipping is free (return shipping is always complimentary). If your sample box is not returned, you will be charged full retail price for the contents, as well as $50.00 for the fabric swatches. Please note: Sample Boxes are only shipped to customers residing in the continental United States + Alaska and Hawaii.

What if the samples I want are out of stock?

Sample inventory changes daily, so make sure to sign up for notifications and we will send you an automatic email when that item returns to inventory! When you try to select a style and size combination that is not currently available, enter your email address above the black “Notify Me!” box to sign up.

How long does it take for a Revelry Sample Box to arrive?

Sample Boxes ship within 48 hours (Monday-Friday) and typically arrive within 3-4 business days via UPS. You will receive an email with tracking information once your Sample Box ships, and another email once it is delivered.

What is included in a Revelry Sample Box?

Each Sample Box includes your selected styles and sizes, a full set of fabric swatches, a tape measure, notes on how to measure, and a pre-paid UPS return label.

What color are the samples?

To ensure a timely delivery, sample styles arrive in the color available in the size you request. We do include a full set of fabric swatches in every Sample Box so you can see all of the colors we offer in person.


How do I select the right size?

See our How To Measure guide to help you decide which sizes to order for your Sample Box.  We recommend ordering the size that matches your largest measurement.  If your exact size is not in stock, order one size larger. We are extensively trained on the fit, style, and construction of our entire collection, so if you need sizing advice contact us at hello@shoprevelry.com.

What should I do if I am in between sizes?

If you are in between sizes, order the next size up or the size that corresponds to your largest measurement. It is much easier to have something altered down a half size than up.

Does Revelry perform alterations?

Revelry does not perform alterations. Once you place your order, your dress is made according to standard sizing. While most bridesmaid dresses do require some alterations, our sizing policy aims to minimize the adjustments needed.  If you're worried about needing adjustments, contact us at hello@shoprevelry.com. We are happy to recommend sizes that often don't require alterations! 

What should I do if I’m expecting?

Congratulations! We typically recommend ordering 1 or more sizes up depending on how far along you’ll be at the wedding. Please keep in mind you will probably need to have alterations done to your dress to ensure the best fit. Contact us at hello@shoprevelry.com and we can help determine what size to order.

What should I do if I just had a baby?

Congratulations again! Everyone’s body changes differently after having a baby, so contact us at hello@shoprevelry.com and we can help determine what size to order.

Does Revelry charge extra for extended sizing?

There is no additional charge for extended sizes. We outfit all women between sizes 0-32!


How accurate are the dress colors on the website?

Screen resolution can enhance or dull the colors on a webpage, so we recommend ordering our swatches to keep so you can see the color in person! We also provide a full swatch book of the corresponding fabric of the item you choose in our sample boxes

What is a dye lot?

A dye lot is the dye that fabric is dipped in to create the color. When dresses are not made in the same dye lot, it's challenging to guarantee that the tone of the garments will be the same. That's why we recommend bridal parties coordinate to order on the same day, or within one order.

Can I purchase additional fabric?

We offer the option to purchase our fabric for $15 per yard. This is handy for many situations; like having a local seamstress make matching flower girl dresses, adding sleeves to your dress, or making matching handkerchiefs for the groomsmen. Please keep in mind that their is a lead time for fabric ordered. Fabric ships within 3-4 weeks of order placement. Use the the links below to order additional fabric, including lining:

What does made-to-order mean?

The only inventory we keep are samples, so each final order that is placed is made specifically for that customer according to the size, color and length they select.  This is why we never run out of inventory and why we can offer so many options, it's the next best thing to a custom made garment!

Can I order by phone?

We require all orders to be placed by our customers, we do not process orders over the phone, but we are more than happy to walk you through the steps! Call us at 512-394-7607.

If I’m the bride, can I contribute toward the cost of my bridesmaid’s dresses?

Yes, and many of our brides do! We suggest placing the final order as a group and using cost sharing apps like Venmo or Paypal to organize the funds. You can also purchase a gift certificatefor your bridesmaids!

Do we have to order together or can we order separately?

You can order together or separately! If ordering separately, we definitely recommend placing orders within the same week if possible. This helps guarantee dye lots (see colors & fabric swatches) and ensures everyone receives their items in the same time frame.

What if I need to make a change to my order?

As soon as you place your order, your item(s) begin the production process. If you need to update color, size, or style selections you MUST do so within 24 HOURS. Please double check your order before checking out and again when you receive your e-mailed invoice.

Does Revelry offer additional discounts?

Revelry's made-to-order bridesmaid line is already heavily discounted in nature since Revelry sells directly to you with no other retailers involved. The cost of our items are between 50% to 30% less than our gowns would be priced at if you could purchase them in bridal boutiques or other online retailers.


How long will it take to receive my dress?

Once your final order is placed the items are made-to-order by our production team. Our standard turnaround options are 10 weeks and 7 week rush. However, during our busy season, if you order between December 26th and March 1st we only offer a 15 week turnaround. We recommend ordering your items 4 months prior to the wedding date to leave plenty of time for possible alterations, styling, and peace of mind. It always feels great checking "bridesmaid dress" off of your to-do list!

Does Revelry ship overseas?

We ship final orders worldwide! Our flat international shipping rate of $75 is applied to any destination outside of the US. *Please note: Revelry is not responsible for customs fees incurred upon delivery.

We do not ship Sample Boxes outside of the US, however, we can send Fabric Swatches to help our international customers see our colors options and fabric quality. Fabric Swatches ship for free!

Do you ship to P.O Boxes?

We currently DO NOT ship to P.O Boxes. UPS will only accept shipments to a valid street address. We do not deliver to P.O. Boxes because of delays and your package will not be covered by any UPS Service Guarantee. If you enter a PO box address, an address correction will have to be made. Please let us know in advance if you have questions on where to send your package.

How long will it take for a Sample Box to ship?

Sample Boxes are shipped within 48 hours (Monday-Friday) of order placement. Once shipped, you will receive an email with UPS tracking information. UPS transit takes 3-4 days depending on your location. Click here to help estimate the transit time for your Sample Box.

When will my bridesmaid accessories ship?

Bridesmaid and Bridal accessories ordered with a made-to-order item will ship together. Our standard turnaround options are 10 weeks and 7 week rush. However, during our busy season, if you order between January 1st and March 1st we only offer a 15 week turnaround. Accessories ordered individually will ship within 48 hours.

Returns & Exchanges

How do I make a return or exchange?

Each garment is made to order, and we don't keep regular inventory. For this reason, everything is FINAL SALE and cannot be returned or exchanged.

Accessories can be returned within 14 days of receiving your order. These items must be in new condition and unworn. To make a return please fill out the Accessories Return Form (here) and follow the instructions.  Please make sure to include your name and order number on the form.

What if my item arrives damaged?

Each item is checked for quality before being shipped to you. However, if your item arrives damaged, contact us at hello@shoprevelry.com and we will resolve the problem right away!

Can I return bridesmaid accessories?
