The burgundy is a rich deep color. The dress is lined and heavy enough to wear in the cooler months (I am with a fur shrug) in Nov. This dress is gorgeous and the most flattering one Ive found in my two month search!

The size is a perfect fit and true to size. I am 53 weigh 118lbs. Im in good shape. Only bummer- the side zipper under your arm is not easy to zip when youre alone. Another bummer, velvet is rather costly to have hemmed due to its stretchy fabric and the liner. This dress is extra long and will most likely require hemming. However, since I purchased the sample, I was okay with the cost of the hemming. I did also pay extra for fast shipping ($12) and an additional ($5) for insurance. So truly, my cost for the dress from the store was less than one from a store. Im thrilled!
