Weddings typically hit all at once. It feels like there are years where your fridge is covered in Save-the-Dates and you’re invited to event after event. After a while, weddings can all start to look the same.
Here’s a few ways you can add a personal touch at your wedding to make sure everyone remembers the night for years to come.
Specialty Drink Station
Feat. Rory in Rose Quartz satin
Provide a nice refreshment for your guests while also showing off your own style. Check out this Aperol Spritz cart we included at our last shoot. If you’re not an Aperol fan, we have also seen equally adorable stations for margaritas, bloody marys, and even specialty coffee carts!
Live Painter
Want to decorate your place with wedding memorabilia without making it too obvious? Getting a live painter for your big day will create a keepsake that matches all the beautiful art in your home while giving you a reminder of one of your favorite moments. It also creates an element of entertainment for your guests while the artist completes the painting throughout the night. We had this live painter capture the first kiss!
Champagne Tower
Seriously, who doesn’t love a champagne tower? This can be a budget-friendly way to do a traditional “champagne toast” without buying the whole room a glass. It makes an iconic photo moment for the couple, and can make the speeches portion of the evening way more fun and engaging. Plus, this is a great swap if you and your partner are not big on cake.
Emphasis on the Guest
The weddings you remember the most are the ones you felt most welcomed at. Try to create a tiny, but thoughtful, moment to show your loved ones just how grateful you are to have them with you on your wedding day. Adding their name to a place setting or including a brief thank-you note can be the cherry on top to their experience. This is especially effective when your guest list is too long to spend ample time with each person on the list.
No matter what you do to add a personal touch to your wedding, your friends and family will just be happy to be there. Always remember the details are a nice bonus, but are never required. Enjoying the day with your person is the most important thing.
Big thank you to all the vendors we got to partner with to make this gorgeous shoot possible!
