It’s been an over a year since this wedding, and I’m still flooded with the warm fuzzies. What to know something crazy? This wedding has been published. On this day, it rained. Not a little, a lot. We had to change our original plans and get married in the reception space. After the rain, wind came in and with a vengeance. The bride had a budget, yes I said the B word. She had a realistic number that she felt comfortable spending, so we prioritized. Needless to say, having a budget HELPED us throughout the planning process. It’s not a bad thing to budget. Lastly, glitches happened. A wreck in Austin delayed a bus. However, because the company was a professional company (and not uncle Gary’s friend) they knew to communicate. We share all of this because it’s important to educate our couples.
