When Revelry was founded well over a decade ago, boss babe, Michelle, knew that she wanted her company to be different. Not only did she want to outfit babes and their besties in looks that make them feel beautiful inside and out, but she wanted the ENTIRE process to be a celebration of love: love for your partner, love for your friends, and love for your journey.
She started a recruitment clothing line from her apartment during her senior year of college after realizing just how much of a struggle it was for sororities to find affordable and cohesive looks for large groups. So, with just a Google Docs sheet, gowns she sold from her apartment, and a whole lot of talent, she got to work on Revelry before she even had her degree. After landing six group-sales orders totaling $35,000, Michelle knew that she had found her calling.
"Thank you to my amazing team. You’re the backbone behind making the top 500 list. Revelry could not have made it without you!" -Xoxo, Michelle
Upon graduating from Texas State University in 2008 with a degree in Communications and an engagement on the horizon, she was ready to fully build Revelry into the flourishing, e-commerce boutique it is today. After spending years making her own formal gowns on their family sewing machine, her parents could quickly see that, while Michelle was taking the riskier road less traveled, their daughter was born to be her own boss.
Michelle quickly became an entrepreneur leader in Austin and after seeing the success she had with the Greek market, it only made sense to expand and evolve her company as her customers matured as well. When her friends traded their Greek letters for engagement rings and begged her for bridal and bridesmaid dresses that offered the same quality and affordability as the recruitment garments they loved, Michelle knew the next step for Revelry was the wedding industry.

With support from her family and friends, she took a leap of faith and released her first line for bridesmaids. Gorgeous gowns, swoon-worthy separates, and high-quality accessories, not to mention the Sample Box process that put Revelry on the map — Michelle’s step into the wedding industry was greeted with open arms and A LOT of love in the media.
After years of creating picture-perfect pieces for babes around the world on their most special days, it became apparent that Revelry wasn’t just wildly successful for the wedding industry, but across the entire spectrum of privately-owned businesses as well.
What started as a dream from her dorm turned Michelle into an entrepreneurial powerhouse that was reaching well beyond the Austin city limits.
From innovative-yet-on-trend styles, designer quality that falls way under the price range of similar-caliber competitors, and ever-evolving lines that aim to outfit the entire party, it’s easy to see why Revelry landed on Inc. Magazine’s list of the 5000 fastest-growing companies of 2019.
With an expertly selected team, a female-forward mentality, and non-stop thirst for growth, Revelry’s backbone is the specialized group that runs the ins and outs of finding and receiving your perfect dress. With most everything handled in house, every question and concern can be answered and resolved within a fraction of the time compared to the pros that mostly outsource.
With the name of Michelle’s company, “Revelry,” meaning lively and happy festivities, it only made sense that this monumental accomplishment to be marked. Landing number 326 on Inc. Magazine's list of the 5000 most successful privately owned companies meant one thing and one thing only: It was time to celebrate in style!
From her life-long besties, her full team, leaders in the Austin business scene, and even one of the bride ambassadors, Victoria, from Revelry’s popular #FinallyTheBride series, Michelle wanted this to be a night to celebrate everything that her company is about: love, laughter, and fiercely fashionable friendships.
"Dear Diary, we made the top 500 fasted growing companies and I can hardly believe it. It took a lot of hard work and support from my friends and family. I'm feeling beyond grateful!" -Xoxo, Michelle
Hosted at P6, her favorite spot in downtown Austin with views of the river, Michelle had the event of all events to celebrate the team that helped build her dream. With specialty cocktails, delicious bites, and fabulous decor from her favorite vendors, it was, truly, a night full of revelry.

After over a decade of hard work and dedication, it only made sense to celebrate in style with everyone who helped paved the way for her vision. With toasts, hugs, plenty of Champagne, and her besties and team members dressed in her creations, there was no better way to exemplify up all that her mission is about.

As her line evolves and her inspiration grows, it’s easy to see that this is just the beginning for Michelle and Revelry. As we clean our confetti and put away our party shoes, we’re already dreaming about the next successes, the next styles, and the next chapters for all things Revelry.
xoxo, Revelry
